2020 Land Rover Defender: ‘Having a manual is just daft’

Speaking to Australian media at the Frankfurt motor show, Nick Rogers, the chief engineer of Land Rover, explained why "having a manual [Defender] is just daft". The original model, which was introduced in 1948 and went out of production in 2016, was only ever available with a manual transmission.
