2015-16 Porsche Panamera, 911, Boxster and Cayman recalled

Porsche has recalled the 2015-16 Panamera, 911, Boxster and Cayman (981 and 982 generation), over concerns about their airbag control units. According to the company, an airbag control unit with an out of specification capacitor for maintaining power supply might have been fitted. The capacitor could deploy the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners in the car unexpectedly, or stop them deploying in an accident. A total of 346 cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
