Think carefully before you buy a diesel vehicle

The three letters of the month are D, P and F... With a class action announced taking Toyota to task over the DPF issues with some of its 2.8-litre turbo diesel engines, everyone is talking about diesel particulate filters (or DPF for short). I'm sure there will be an engineer out there somewhere who isn't happy with me simplifying it, but I'll try to make it as easy to understand as I can for the rest of us (me included) here.
