Hyundai Nexo scores top marks in IIHS crash testing

The first hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle to be crash tested by the US Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has passed with flying colours, scoring a 'Top Safety Pick+' grade. Hyundai only offers the Nexo in California but voluntarily put the car up for IIHS testing, where the mid-sized SUV scored 'good' ratings in all six crashworthiness tests.
