EV charging areas now outnumber petrol stations in the UK

In a report compiled by Nissan using data from the Energy Institute and Zap-Map, the automaker claims there are now 9199 charging sites located throughout the United Kingdom. At the end of 2018, there were just 8396 petrol stations. This isn't an entirely fair comparison, though, as many charging locations only feature one charger, while most petrol stations feature at least four pumps.
