2017-18 Mitsubishi Pajero recalled

Mitsubishi Australia has recalled the 2017-18 Pajero, over concerns about the welding strength on the front right-hand lower control arm. According to the company, 'inadequate welding strength' on the lower control arm could make it fail at one of the weld joints. If the lower control arm fails, the steering mightn't operate correctly, increasing the risk of injury or accident for both the driver and other road users. A total of 6384 vehicles are affected – a VIN list is attached here.
