2016-19 Maserati GranTurismo, GranCabrio recalled

Maserati Australia has issued a recall for the 2016-19 model-year GranTurismo and GranCabrio over concerns the airbags may not deploy in the event of an accident. According to the Italian marque, "the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) airbag system may be defective and not activate" due to a manufacturing fault. If the condition occurs, Maserati says there is an increased risk of injury to the vehicle's occupants.
