Jaguar XE SV Project 8 topples its own Nurburgring record

Not content with the production four-door lap Nurburgring lap record it set in 2017, Jaguar has returned and beaten its own marker with XE SV Project 8. By lapping the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7:18.361, the Project 8 slashed 2.9 seconds from its previous best. The key cog in improving that time? A set of Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2 R tyres, road-legal rubber that's reportedly a smidgen sticker than the tyres previously fitted to the Project 8.
