Honda recalls mid-2000s Accord Euro, City, Civic, CR-V and Jazz

Honda has recalled 45,636 cars across the Accord Euro, City, Civic, CR-V and Jazz ranges to have their Takata airbag inflators replaced. As with all Takata campaigns, included cars are fitted with airbag propellant that degrades when exposed to heat and humidity. If a car with an affected inflator is included in an accident triggering the airbags, the inflator housing could rupture, sending metal fragments shooting into the cabin. That puts both drivers at serious risk of injury or death.
