Volkswagen Golf Mk8 to launch before year's end - report

The next-generation Volkswagen Golf has been hit with delays and software issues according to a recent report, but the company is committed to bringing the new hatch to market later this year. Industry journal Automotive News Europe claims Volkswagen CEO, Herbert Diess, said in an internal meeting this week the company's management 'must ensure' the new Golf launches by the end of the year.
