2020 Honda E drivetrain details revealed

Honda has revealed sparing details about its first pure-electric car for developed markets, the inventively-named E, and its brand new platform. Although the company has yet to reveal the power and torque outputs of the motor, we know it's mounted on the rear axle and powers the rear wheels. It's connected to a 35.5kWh water-cooled lithium-ion battery pack positioned under the car's floor, and wholly within the wheelbase.
