MG Golden Jubilee celebrated in Brisbane

The brand MG as we know it today has come a long way since its inception in 1924. MG, which is now owned by Chinese company SAIC, was founded in the 1920s with the initials standing for Morris Garages. It began life as a sports car manufacturer and as a sales promotion within William Morris's Oxford city retail sales and service business. During its glory days the brand produced plenty of memorable two-seat open sports cars as well as saloons and coupés.
