McLaren builds 20,000th car

McLaren Automotive has celebrated a milestone this week, with its 20,000th car rolling down the production line at its plant in Woking, UK. The commemorative vehicle was a right-hand drive McLaren 600LT Spider (pictured), finished in Chicane Grey. It's been eight years since the first McLaren Automotive model – an MP4-12C – was produced in July 2011, with the company recording an annual output of "just over" 4800 units in 2018.
