2016-18 Abarth 124 Spider recalled

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has recalled the 2016-2018 model-year Abarth 124 Spider over concerns automatic models could suddenly shift into first gear while the vehicle is in motion. The manufacturer says incorrect software in the transmission control module could make the car engage first gear when in moving in 'D'. If the condition occurs, this poses a safety risk to the vehicle's occupants and other road users.
