2014-16 Audi A6 & A7 recalled

Audi Australia has issued a recall for the 2014 to 2016 model-year A6 and A7 over concerns a faulty heater element could pose a fire hazard. The German marque reports that affected vehicles have an auxiliary heater element in the air conditioner that could fail due to an incorrectly plugged in electrical connecter. If the condition occurs, the connectors could overheat causing the element to fail, which could cause smolder damage or even a fire.
