Tesla Model 3: Australian orders opening in May

Order books for the Tesla Model 3 will open early in May for Australia, Elon Musk has confirmed. The outspoken CEO used his preferred method of communication, Twitter, to deliver the news. "UK Model 3 order page goes live next week, followed shortly thereafter by Japan, Australia, New Zealand & Hong Kong," he said in a thread about the 'affordable' electric sedan. It's suggested the order page will go live at some point after May 6, but that hasn't been confirmed.
