Porsche planning Panamera-based 8 Series rival - report

A new report out of the UK indicates Porsche is working on a two-door version of its front-engined Panamera to rival the likes of the BMW 8 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Britain's Autocar claims scuttlebutt out of Europe suggests the company is developing a coupe and convertible based on the Panamera's MSB modular architecture that will offer enhanced practicality and everyday comfort over its 911 mid-engined sports car.
