Audi RS3 production delayed, e-tron not expected until 2020

As the global effects of WLTP compliance come into play for manufacturers, some new and existing models have hit a snag, including the all-new Audi e-tron, for the Australian market. Originally slated to launch in Australia during 2019, the e-tron now won't launch locally until 2020 as Audi works through a backlog of WLTP compliance across its range of vehicles. The high-performance RS3 is suffering the same fate with production on hold until a WLTP compliant solution is in place.
