2018-19 Volkswagen Polo recalled

Volkswagen Australia has issued a recall for the 2018 and 2019 model-year Polo range over concerns affected vehicles could have faulty handbrakes. The German brand reports "the adjuster nut for the handbrake lever can loosen", which could prevent the handbrake from being fully applied. "If the handbrake lever cannot be fully applied, it may lead to an increased risk of accident and injury to occupants of the vehicle and other road users," Volkswagen says in its recall notice.
