2016-19 Porsche 718 Boxster, Cayman recalled

Porsche has recalled the 2016-19 718 Boxster and Cayman over a structural issue that puts the fuel tank at increased risk of damage in an accident. According to the company, a frontal collision could make the lower longitudinal crash beam penetrate the bulkhead wall. If that happens, there's a higher risk of the fuel tank being damaged, creating a risk of leakage and, by extension, fire.
