Land Rover Discovery SVX cancelled

The Land Rover Discovery SVX has been axed before a single car has rolled down the production line. Land Rover has confirmed the SVX's demise to Autocar, stating the vehicle unveiled at 2017 Los Angeles motor show, and originally slated to go on sale locally in late 2018, will not be manufactured. In addition to having a raft of modifications aimed at improving its off-roading ability, the SVX was to be the only Discovery variant available with a V8 engine.
