Ferrari: Mid-engined hybrid coming this year

Ferrari will this year unveil a new mid-engined hybrid supercar, with more power and torque than the current 488 Pista. The company's CEO, Louis Camilleri, confirmed the news at an earnings call, as reported by Automotive News. We know it'll combine a petrol V8 engine with electric augmentation, but whether or not it'll be a plug-in model, series hybrid, or merely use electrification for a KERS-style boost, remains a mystery.
