Volvo V40 and S90 axed, V90 'on the backburner'

Volvo Australia has quietly dropped the V40 and S90 from the local line-up, and has officially said the standard V90 is "on the backburner" after being delayed several times. Speaking with CarAdvice, the company's local PR boss, Greg Bosnich, confirmed the ageing V40 has been dropped though some demonstrator stock remains in dealers. "We are down to only some demonstrator models at certain dealerships but in the main the V40 stock in Australia is now depleted."
