Lotus looking to build cars in China - report

Lotus looks likely to start manufacturing vehicles at a huge new factory in China, according to overseas reports. Reporting from newswire Reuters has revealed a US$1.3 billion factory is being readied in Wuhan Province, as Zhejiang Geely Holding Group gets its hands dirty in search of greater volumes and, subsequently, profits from the storied brand. The factory plans were uncovered in previously-unreleased government documents, backed by a number of job postings in the relevant area.
