How much faster have Formula E cars become? - video

Formula E is still in its infancy as a sport. After four years with the same car, it's moving to a new vehicle for season five. Chief among improvements is battery life: at the moment, drivers need to swap cars halfway through a race. Come next season, they'll be able to last the full distance. The cars look meaner, too. To show that, among those improvements, the new cars are much, much faster than before, Formula E has put the Gen 1 and Gen 2 cars side-by-side.
