2010-16 Ford Fiesta, 2011-15 Ranger recalled

Ford has recalled the Fiesta and Ranger, over concerns about the pawl spring tab in the side-door latch. According to the company, the spring tab in a side-door latch could break, which usually prevents the door from latching. If the car can be closed, however, the door could open while the vehicle is moving. That increases the risk of accident, and puts some occupants at risk of falling out of the vehicle while it's in motion.
