Porsche 911 Project Gold sells in 10 minutes

Project Gold, an in-house restored Porsche 911 993 Turbo, made waves when it was launched in August, blending the sort of attention-to-detail we've come to expect from Singer with a proper factory budget. Turns out, Porsche's approach was a winner. The hotted-up 993 Turbo this weekend sold for US$3.08 million ($4.3 million) at auction, after a 10-minute, 37-bid battle between buyers.
