Audi R8 V10 Coupe/Spyder recalled

Audi has recalled R8 V10 Coupe and Spyder models manufactured between mid-2015 and late-2017, over concerns about an oil leak in the automatic transmission. According to the company, vehicles with the DL800 gearbox could develop an oil leak in the gearbox breather when the car is being driven "on a racetrack and extreme driving manoeuvres are being undertaken". If the problem occurs, oil vapour from the gearbox breather could contact hot components in the engine, creating a risk of fire.
