2019 Mazda CX-5 2.5T launches in Japan

The Mazda CX-5 has been updated in its home market, confirming the availability of the CX-9's 2.5-litre turbo petrol engine for the mid-sized SUV. Available to pre-order now in the Japanese domestic market, the refreshed CX-5 range is the first model in the company's Japanese line-up to offer the turbocharged petrol powertrain – which makes 169kW at 4250rpm and 420Nm at 2000rpm – while also debuting Mazda's upgraded G-Vectoring Control Plus.
