Mach 1 name looking unlikely for Ford's Mustang-inspired crossover

Ford will still use Mustang styling cues for its 2020 electric crossover, but the Mach 1 nameplate is seemingly no longer attached to the project. At the beginning of this year the automaker announced it was planning to launch a new electric crossover by 2020. Said to have handling, performance and styling inspired by the Mustang, it was announced with the Mach 1 name.
