2011-15 Audi A4, A5, Q5 recalled

Audi Australia has issued a recall for the 2011-2015 A4, A5, and Q5 model lines, over concerns a faulty heating element in the air-conditioning system could pose a fire risk. The German marque reports that the auxiliary heater element in the ventilation system may fail as the result of overheating "in the area of the connectors". If the condition occurs, and the heater element overheats, this may lead to "smoulder damage or potentially a fire".
