Honda Civic diesel gets nine-speed auto in the UK

Honda UK has released details of the revised Civic i-DTEC diesel, which is now available with a new nine-speed automatic transmission. All grades of the Civic diesel in the UK will be offered with the new self-shifter as an option, which has a low first-gear ratio for a "smooth and powerful launch", while the high top-gear ratio "ensures low engine speed while cruising" for improved fuel consumption and refinement.
