2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class recalled

Mercedes-Benz has recalled the 2018 X-Class ute over concerns about the tyre pressure monitoring software. According to the company, a software error (code RY2) in the tyre pressure monitoring system of some X-Class vehicles might prevent it from displaying a low tyre pressure warning in the instrument cluster. Driving with tyre pressures below the recommended minimum can cause uneven tyre wear, and steering/braking behaviour is negatively impacted, increasing the risk of an accident.
