2019 Mazda CX-5 to get 2.5T in the US - report

The CX-5 SUV could be the next member of the Mazda line-up to get the brand's 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, if new documents out of the US are anything to go by. Autoevolution published a document (below) made to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) – the state's regulatory body for emissions and air quality – which apparently indicates the CX-5 will offer the 2.5-litre turbo as part of a 2019 model-year update.
