2015-19 Kia Carnival recalled for door fix

Kia Australia has issued a recall for the 2015-19 model-year Carnival over concerns models with power-operated side doors may not recognise objects obstructing their path. The Korean manufacturer reports the software controlling the power sliding doors may not detect "certain obstructions", and therefore may not auto-reverse when an obstruction is in the door opening. If the condition occurs, occupants could be injured if an errant limb or finger is obstructing the door as it closes.
