2014-18 Jeep Cherokee recalled

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has issued a recall for the 2014-2018 model-year Jeep Cherokee, over concerns a faulty Power Control Module (PCM) could make cruise control to lock or accelerate unexpectedly. The manufacturer reports the PCM's computer software is faulty, and could cause the "possible locking of speed or cause acceleration of the vehicle" when cruise control is activated.
